Flat rate for basic infrastructure in Uri
The Uri energy subsidy programme 2026 contains two contributions for charging infrastructure, both a flat CHF 2,000. The first applies to basic infrastructure in existing residential buildings. At least ten parking spaces need shared load management, at least one needs an EV charger, and the building must date from 2020 or earlier. The electricity must come from renewable energy. Smaller car parks and newer houses do not meet the conditions.
Bidirectional EV chargers
The second contribution of CHF 2,000 applies to a bidirectional DC charger. We clarify at the site visit whether it suits your building. Subsidy applications must be submitted before installation starts. We submit them for you. On request, we pre-finance the subsidy.
Property management and condominium ownership
In condominium ownership (STWEG), the owners decide according to the Civil Code and their regulations, and in rented properties the landlord agrees. Load management shares the power between all spaces, so the house connection can often be kept as it is. We prepare a quote that you can put to the property management or the owners’ meeting, with separate items for the basic installation and the wallboxes.
Because at least ten parking spaces must be equipped, larger residential developments are the main candidates. During the site visit we record all spaces, check the main distribution board and the cable routes, and note whether the conditions are met. Planning and installation are carried out by our own installers.
Grid operators in Uri
Energie Uri supplies 14 of the 19 communes, the Elektrizitätswerk Ursern three, and the Gemeindewerke Erstfeld and the Elektrizitätswerk Göschenen one each. The cantonal median is 25.1 ct./kWh, which is 2.6 centimes below the Swiss median of 27.7 ct./kWh. Our electrical installer registers the system with the responsible utility using the installation notice (Installationsanzeige). The utility may require a connection application and set conditions on power.

How much does the Canton of Uri pay for basic infrastructure in the car park?

That depends on the regulations and the scope. Work on shared parts such as the supply line and distribution board usually needs a resolution of the owners' meeting. We provide the documents for the vote.
Is the house connection enough for several electric cars?
Often yes, if load management shares out the power. Then not all cars charge at full power at the same time. We calculate whether the connection is enough using the load data of your building.
